    Baxter Auction is my grandfathers company. They’ve been the owners and operators of Baxter Auction Gallery for 50 years as of 2022. I’ve been helping operate and conduct sales since I was 9 years old. Baxter auction is run on a consignment basis, typically dealing with antiques and collectibles. Revenue for sales typically runs between 8,000 and 80,000 dollars per day, depending entirely on the quality of merchandise.

    My father recommended me wait tables in order to tie my wages to my work ethic. On top of learning to overcome shyness, or awkwardness, I was able to thrive and saw highs of almost $45/hr ($2.13/hr base) waiting tables using excellent customer service and sales communication strategies. I have been here ever since I first came in for an interview more than 2 years ago! They treat me fairly and I work my hardest in return. I am grateful for the bonds I have made and for the experience opportunities they have given me.

    I took a summer internship under Aaron Starr in the year 2022. Aaron is the Management Broker/Realtor of F.C Tucker Noblesville. He is extremely successful in the real estate area, with his own portfolio as well as his income as a realtor. In 2021 I believe he did about 16 million in sales, and it was eye opening to watch him work during such an extraordinary real estate market as was seen in 2022. This was my first time working in such a corporate environment, but the experience was pleasant! On some days I would be processing paper work, building excel reports, or creating MLS listings. Other days I was mowing the lawns, measuring flood heights for insurance, laying vinyl flooring, or hauling trash bags while cleaning out a property for renovation. Aaron bestowed to me a plethora of advice and knowledge ranging from work ethic to money management. He is one of the hardest working people I know, but one day I hope to surpass him!
