Negotiated "back-to-back" loan in Seattle, WA and in Chile, simultaneously to achieve beneficial interest rates and lower payment transfers tax rates, which provided savings of US$ 1.5MM during the life of the transaction.Established a working capital financing program among the parent company and subsidiaries, by which, excess cash was used to acquire assets and inventory without the need to utilize outside borrowings.Restructured foreign subsidiary through foreign bankruptcy procedures similar to US Chapter 11. The restructure of debt to 10 years and with an interest rate of 4.5% made possible the turn around to profitability.Negotiated the sale of three subsidiaries as a package, minimizing capital gains taxes in the foreign country and in the USA.Renegotiated loan agreements with banks to achieve better interest rates and improved repayment terms to improve cash flow availability to our subsidiaries.Developed a cash flow plan and reporting procedures for all entities in the Marco Chilena group to improve funds availability, and reduce borrowings.Updated the responsibility accounting procedures to a "direct cost basis"Directly responsible for the preparation of 27 USA income tax reports for all foreign subsidiaries.Directly responsible for all the affairs of two USA corporations and two Panamanian subsidiaries, including annual reports to shareholders.; Negotiated with international auditors for audit fees, reports and consultations.Perform complex accounting procedures in two languages and multiple currencies and foreign GAAP, including currency conversions and consolidations of national and foreign subsidiaries.
