The Project Engineer role included managing subdivisions, servicing mains extensions, stormwater management design and road design projects from inception through to completion. Day to day work included;- Subdivision coordination from preliminary investigations through to issue of new titles, acting as the primary contact for the client for the entire process. Subdivisions vary in terms of scope and size, including greenfields, brownfields and body corporate developments from 2 lots to 60+, in residential and industrial settings.- Creation and lodgment of Planning Permit applications.- Consultation with authorities including Councils, Water Authorities, DoT, NBN, Powercor and AusNet.- Coordination of external consultants involved in the project including Bushfire Consultants, Vegetation Consultants and Surveyors.- Detailed design of gravity and pressure sewer mains, drainage infrastructure, water mains, common properties and urban roads.- Drafting of subdivision layout proposals and computation of lots.- Creation of Stormwater Management Plans, including Water Sensitive Urban Design treatment node design and stormwater detention system design (basins, tanks, wetlands etc).- Drafting of engineering plans for authority approval.- Contract administation including issuing payment claims.- Project auditing and inspections.
