I was charged with intentional recruiting to change the culture of the organization resulting in increased productivity and improved morale. I planned and developed training curriculum for best practices. I ensured legal compliance with State and Federal laws. I handled all mediations and employee concerns. I was able to stay a union campaign and keep the union out of our hotel due to satisfaction among the line staff with the Human Resources Department. All training, orientations, development programs (including internships) were organized by me. Customer service training and process improvement were under my umbrella as well.
