My last position with the USMC was the safety of flight quality assurance representative for a helicopter squadron based in Okinawa. In addition to my duties as avionics night maintenance supervisor, I was responsible for checking all safety of flight maintenance work that originated on our 12 hour shift.I had an avionics crew of 10 that directly reported to me. I indirectly supervised the remainder or the 50+ of night crew Marines as the QAR.
