Developed a portfolio of expert-led biopharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing conferences and workshops, held in the UK and Germany. I commissioned additional white papers, reviews, podcasts and infographics in collaboration with Pharma IQ, IQPC's online biopharmaceutical portal.I converted commercial and technical analysis into enabling strategies for drug discovery, development, toxicity testing, disease modelling and risk mitigation. I delivered evidence-based critiques, problem-solving case studies and discussion forums for CXOs, VPs, Directors and Heads across therapeutic areas. This required presenting new and unpublished research across basic, pre-clinical, translational and clinical research, manufacturing and production, from blue-chip companies, international regulators and Ivy League universities. Projects included: Epigenetic Innovations, Clinically-Relevant Drug Transporters, Predictive Toxicology, Cell-Based Assays, Pathogen Safety [biopharmaceutical manufacturing]. Key achievements:• Facilitated guidance from regulatory, industry and academic experts to improve clients’ product development. • Synthesised research allowing clients to mitigate risk, leverage big data and increase translational efficacy. • Recommended on LinkedIn by NASA and Oxford University scientists for the quality of information I engendered.

Grew and launched a series of biopharmaceutical, utility and conventional energy conferences, workshops and masterclasses. This involved interpreting, contextualising and monetising new and unpublished research across three independent areas of science and technology. Biopharmaceuticals: I worked on topics incorporating nanobiotechnology, stratified/personalised medicine and big data (before the term 'big data' was being applied to biological problems). Projects included: Next-Generation Sequencing, Orphan Drugs and Rare Diseases, Biomarkers, Controlled-Release [drug formulations], Quality by Design, and Diabetes, Cardiovascular and Renal Complications.Energy: I addressed commercial markets, enabling technologies, data analytics and cybersecurity for oil and gas operations. Projects included: Liquefied Natural Gas, Oil and Gas Telecommunications, and Exploration & Production Information and Data Management.Utilities: I addressed international policy, investment incentives and technology drivers for renewable energy, water management and waste-to-energy developments. Projects included: Grid-Scale Energy Storage, Smart Water Systems and Energy from Waste.Key achievements:• Launched six new conferences, which all became repeat events, in markets SMi had no exposure in or data for. One, in utilities, grossed sponsorship revenue 400% higher than the company's sector average. • Redefined the focus of three existing conferences and increased their yearly revenues by up to 200%.• Secured sponsorship from two top-15 pharmaceutical companies for the first time in the company’s history.• Made over 1,000 senior-level contacts across Fortune 500 companies, corporate law, finance, Ivy League universities and international polity, including the British, Danish and Scottish parliaments, European Commission and Welsh Assembly.
