    John Garruto is the principal and founder of Capital Realty Consultants. After a tenure of almost 10 years in commercial real estate he came to realize the need for a different kind of real estate company. To meet that need he created Capital Realty Consultants to service a very specific group of Clients, real estate investors, land developers and end users. He has held Patrol, Investigative and Administrative positions. Career highlights included:• First line Supervisor for various Patrol Units. Often called in to revamp failing units and raise their level of accomplishment• Commanded Street Crimes Unit responsible for investigating numerous drug, property and violent crimes.• Ran Community Policing Operations. With a special five officer unit decreased the level of crime in the neighborhood with the highest crime rate in Monmouth and Ocean Counties by 48% over two years• Wrote Department of Justice Grants that accounted for over $5 million.• In charge of night operations, commanding 37 officers of a 110 officer department and five civilians that handled 45% of the agency’s 115,000 annual calls for service. Conducted and oversaw numerous investigations.• Conducted training and oversaw the practical application in areas of Domestic Violence, Use of Force, Police Pursuit, to name a few
