Responsible for managing a team of 11 project managers, analysts and programmer-analysts who delivered new applications, and also supported, enhanced, and maintained 19+ computer applications. Some of these applications were used by AECL staff at nuclear plants throughout the world on a 24/7 basis. Managed a $1.2M dollar budget. Reported to Director of Application Services.Highlights:- Managed the service delivery determined by Service Level Agreements to major business areas within AECL: the Candu Reactor Division, and Corporate. - Managed staff effectively to deliver quality work resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction.- Performed management oversight on major projects to ensure they were delivered on time and on budget. Most recent major success was delivery of a work management system for the Wolsong Retube Project on time and within budget ($900,000 project which won the 2009 AECL C.F.O. award)- Led the department to become more process compliant and implemented many concepts garnered from CMM Levels 2 and 3 certification from NHSS.
