In his leadership role for Dell’s Global Proposals, Contracts and Compliance team, John and his team provided Proposal and Contract/Commercial support to Dell’s world-wide commercial business groups (Consumer, Retail, Channel, Small & Medium Business, Large Enterprise and Public). John led 320 team members in 28 countries supporting 20+ languages throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific & Japan, and Europe, Middle East & Africa. The team produced customer-facing proposals, contracts and statements of work, including back office operations supporting those functions. In addition, the team maintained an operational compliance focus designed ensure Dell delivered on the promises made to customers. John chartered his team with creating winning proposals and establishing sales contracts and statements of work that enable customers to simplify/accelerate their purchase experience (products/services/solutions) while maintaining robust governance and contract compliance.
