    Successfully obtained Library, Information and Archive Services Assistant Level 3 (LIASA) qualification in 2023. In addition to general library duties at Redcar Central Library, challenging Customer service activities, and relief duties at other branches across the service, I have: • Drafted a new Stock Management Policy at Management request (last revised in 1999) • Successfully launched & promoted the Access To Research offer https://www.accesstoresearch.org.uk as my final project for LIASA qualification (achieving usage figures in the UK second only to London during May and June 2023) • On my own initiative conducted a stock check of duplicate copies of materials within the Central Reference library to mitigate shelving damage & potentially create new space by archiving spares or distributing to ref’ sections of other branches in the service. • On my own initiative promoted the use of Microfiche reader & archives via FacebookI have devised in-library themed promotions, producing artwork and models for such, and assisted at events to promote the annual Crossing The Tees literary festival.
