    12-Week Immersive Course covering the core competencies for data science using Python, including daily stand up meeting.Learned about data cleaning, data acquisition using both web scraping or SQL databases, fitting and evaluating statistical models and Machine Learning using Scikit Learn as well as Natural Language Processing. Additionally, data presentation using Seaborn, Matplotlib and Tableau were also covered.Completed a personal Capstone Project https://github.com/HindsonJF/Data-Science-Projects demonstrating the skills learnt. The project was interpreting electrophysiological signal data to predict the number of open ion channels. The project involved exploring the data and analysing it to understand it, creating features from the electrophysiological signal then training machine learning models to predict the number of ion channels open at any point in time. The best model had a macro average F1-Score of 0.836 demonstrating a substantial improvement over the baseline value of 0.04.Completed two larger practice projects using machine learning tools. One on predicting house prices using regression models for the Ames Iowa data set, yielding an accuracy score of 0.87. The other focussed on predicting Data Scientist salaries using web scraping to gather the data and classification models for the prediction of whether the salary was above or below average with the best model having an accuracy score of 0.68.
