Manage the day-to-day production of seven lines with daily production ranging from 20,000 to 60,000 cases. Average line efficiencies improved from 72% to 78%. Manage 45+ employees daily including weekly scheduling of lines, reviewing and approving Production payroll, & writing and conducting individual biannual performance reviews. Empower operators to identify potential safety problems, and utilize maintenance, EHS, and production personnel to design and implement solutions. Manage production of entire sheeting division consisting of 24 employees and 4 machines generating an average of 140+ tons daily. Improved on-time deliveries from 65% on-time to over 95% on-time and increased daily production output (95 tons to 140 tons) by developing and leading more efficient work procedures and driving tighter communication with sales and customer service departments. Manage entire logistical process, interview carrier vendors, negotiate freight rates, oversee loading/unloading procedures, and resolve trucking claims stemming from damaged materials to cancelled trucks and late deliveries. Manage inside sales and production cycle: approve and process purchase orders, job setups and production scheduling, logistical planning, and rejection claims. Accounts showed up to 50% growth over my tenure. Promoted from Inside Sales Manager, handled 8 of 10 top customer accounts, exceeding $50 million total annual revenue.
