Government contractors were supplying the government with various goods that requires specialized packaging. I was the contract packaging estimator for contract that could run for 5 years. I worked on changes with the government and supplied goods during the Gulf war. Was the main supplier during the Gulf War to the DLA Troop Support center in South Philadelphia. Requiring custom packaging to be supplied in 48 hours that would be weather resistant.

I bought and had machines rebuilt to our needs. Some still in operation today at local paper companies in Philadelphia. Learned to find cost from start to finish in converting mill rolls of paper to finished counter rolls with all labor and converting supplies used so we could show true cost. A great learning experience for me tools that I still use today.
