Architecture created a services orientation by which IT requirements and programs could be managed in a solutions agnostic structure Developed the Navy’s Enterprise Data Center Architecture that defined the converged set of government and commercial cloud providers required to support the Navy’s mission while achieving $ 2 Billion in savings Developed the Navy’s Cloud Computing Strategy that defines the steps required to transition its applications to secure and reliable cloud hosting  Utilized the Data Center Architecture and Cloud Strategy to provide decisional information to Navy senior leadership during implementation data center consolidation and cloud implementation Chaired an industry advisory panel on data center and cloud technologies. Panel representation included EMC, Microsoft, IBM, NetApp, VMware and HP Led the development of the Navy’s strategy to adopt the DOD Joint Information Environment (JIE). JIE provides seamless network transport between all DOD agencies while improving the overall security posture within and between these agencies Developed the SPAWAR Enterprise Architecture Data Model enabling a federated construct for integrating the architecture data associated its portfolio of hundreds of discrete programs.
