    An emergent family circumstance required me to be based more at home for a period of time, so I undertook several projects during this time:Under graduate study in Humanities resulting in a 2:1 honours History Degree.Creation of a locally based Martial Arts Academy covering multiple locations within which I trained a variety of people, some of whom now run the Academy when I passed it over to them in August 2007.Voluntary administration and training of a local Living History group including attendance at a variety of Living History events and some minor TV work including ‘Battlefield Britain’ from the BBC.Building a separate small business with my wife involving the creation and sale of craft items. During this time I was primarily responsible for face to face sales and also the building and maintenance of the web presence of the business. My wife was able to take over the business fully in August 2007 and it is currently still trading as a sideline to her other projects.
