    Managed a staff of 200 Special Agents handling criminal investigations, intelligence and protective functions covering New York City, lower New York State, Long Island and Connecticut.Key Accomplishments:• Acted as a primary stakeholder in the development of the New York Electronic Crimes Task Force, which was noted in the Patriot Act to deploy and model to other task forces throughout the U.S.• Prepared strategy and documentation for the Secret Service participation in the Northern Manhattan Initiative, a High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Operation.• Developed the JFK Resident Office at JFK International Airport, the first office of its type in the United States Secret Service, setting the benchmark model for other major airports in U.S. cities.• Implemented a Financial Crimes Task Force in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.), New York Police Department and U.S. Secret Service, focusing on large financial transaction and organized crime security cases in the Wall Street Financial District.Other Assignments:1986 – 1991: Presidential Protection Division serving under the Reagan and Bush Administrations1979 – 1984: Counter Assault Team
