      It was many years ago but my love for horses began at age 5 when I finally convinced my 1st instructor I could ride that palomino horse that only the "big children" were allowed to ride at Lake George Camp for Girls. I fell off, rolled over, and got right back on proving I could ride that horse and 'save face'. I continued to ride and show till high school graduation receiving my certificate in horsemanship and was accredited to teach. After college and settling in the Fairfield County area I met Emerson Burr and accepted a job at the club. I have many fond memories but life changed direction and pushed me to secure a career in business. I thought this worth a mention as maybe there is an opportunity to merge my skills with a business that meant so much to me in my life.
