    My job role is overseeing that the warehouse is running as it should be, ensuring all work is completed within the time frames given, doing this correctly and efficiently. I manage a total of 25 team members ensuring they carry out given tasks.- I have advanced SAP knowledge and training. - I have had experience in all aspects of a First Line Manager role. Includes dealing with issues that arise in the warehouse, answering emails/calls, date collection and monitoring and managing staff within the warehouse. Overseeing all processes within the warehouse.- I control hours we use via agencies and organise cover for holidays and sickness, sticking to my given budget. Flexing of staff hours to suit the workload.- I do regular briefs with my team to keep them up to date on progress, issues and any praise. - I monitor and record the day to day progress of my team and the productivity of each person, then relay back to them on whether they are reaching set targets.- I encourage development and continuous improvement within my team and do what’s within my power to arrange training and reach out to senior management when needed for training.- I’m working on a training programme for all warehouse staff, leading to a better trained team and documented training files.- I handle disciplinary/praise/letters of concern. - Auditing of the warehouse for health and safety and cleanliness purposes.- Promoting change and improvements in the warehouse, coming up with new ideas and implementing them.- I have excellent internal and third party relationships.- I do all I can to improve the warehouse, I have currently put in place an aisle rota for cleaning to unsure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy, I have also done the same for the canteen.- Working on stock control so checking/counting and amending stock within the warehouse.- I organise and control all areas of recruitment from candidate selection and interview process to selecting new team members.

This included printing pick notes for the work load, organisation pick notes into different areas, resolving queries on stock, keeping a log of hours/holidays/sickness, editing pick notes via SAP, answering phone calls and emails, completing agency paperwork, data collection. This also included stock control, involving checking/counting and amending stock.Within this job i also covered for the previous First Line Manager for holidays/sickness, giving me the training and experience that led me up to my promotion.
