MARKETING: Managed all aspects of marketing and brand development for Thistle & Bee, a luxury sterling silver branded jewelry and gift ware line with distribution in 48 states. Included strategic planning, execution, analysis systems, budgeting, product development, brand-positioning, customer relations and communications. Lead and managed annual consumer/ trade advertising campaigns and initiatives, including a targeted B2B and B2C Co-op effort with major wholesale accounts. Managed external vendors in the strategic development of the Thistle & Bee website, bi-annual catalog (concept, creative, copy, product representation, printing and logistics), direct mail campaign, photography, brand packaging, collateral, public relations releases and events, and social media. Maintained a strong, consistent branding message across multiple platforms. Comprehensive management of image files and customer database for online and direct mailing programs. MERCHANDISING: Directed Trade Show activities at major US Jewelry Shows, including booth layout, set-up, and development of PR packages, visuals and collateral materials. Worked closely with internal team on presentation of new collections. Developed and implemented signature display and merchandising program in coordination with sales team - creating the first unified and consistent brand presence. Generated signature orange and black gift box and pouch, sourcing and managing costs and inventory across the line. Worked closely with key industry organizations.DESIGN: As head of design, worked closely with president, production facilities and EVP of manufacturing on all aspects of jewelry design strategy and development. Generated comprehensive annual trend and volume analysis, inspiration boards and design concepts. Managed development of designs through sample approval and collection development.RETAIL: Worked with internal team on the opening of the Thistle & Bee Flagship Store.
