I retired on March 24, 2016, after 25 years with the Legislative Assembly, and a total of 40 years in the working world. As a member of the Content Management group, I harvest Ontario government documents from ministry websites, for inclusion in the Legislative Library's collection. These days, many of these documents are electronic versions, but I still love to see print versions! I describe these documents in the Library's online catalogue, so that my Legislative Assembly colleagues can access them for their research. By coding selected publications to appear in the monthly Ontario Checklist, I promote new and significant Ontario documents to Publications Ontario, the public and to libraries.I train my colleagues in various duties related to serials, such as preparing serials for binding, claiming serials and archiving online serials.I assign ISBNs to Ontario government documents, and act as a liaison to obtain ISSNs from ISN Canada for Ontario government serials.I have also participated in the Library's Promotions Team, working as part of the Events Team and the Design and Display Team.
