    • Ensure bus network is well integrated into wider spatial planning of East London, delivering sustainable transport to meet existing and changing demand.• Conduct cost benefit analyses using quantitative and qualitative data to monitor and appraise existing bus network, present recommendations for change to better meet capacity requirements and demand for new links, produce technical reports on incumbent bus operator’s efficiency in running routes, and demonstrate how to balance cost of contracts to TfL with passenger benefit.• Respond to formal consultation on the bus network impact of referable planning applications and local planning policy documents in all East London boroughs. Work with architects to achieve best design of bus facilities (stops, stands, stations, interchanges) for passengers and operators.
