    As Chief Privacy Strategist for Canada Health Infoway Ms Roch is committed to ensuring that privacy is addressed in digital health initiatives across Canada. In this thought leadership role she spearheads the development of landmark reports, identifies emerging issues, contributes to legislative reviews and promotes the importance of considering novel, practical approaches to privacy in the ever-changing health information and technology landscapes. Key to this role is partnering with stakeholders. Her work on the “White Paper on Information Governance" was the catalyst for creation of the federal/provincial/territorial Privacy Forum and Health Information Privacy Group. These groups bring together health ministry, e-health agency, privacy oversight offices and others to consider privacy issues in digital health. Ms. Roch has developed learning materials and reports and speaks frequently at seminars, summits, conferences and national meetings.In 2014 Ms. Roch received the Innovation Award from the International Association of Privacy Professionals on behalf of the Health Information Privacy Group’s consensus report titled “Privacy and EHR Information Flows in Canada”. The paper outlines common understandings related to the privacy protective disclosure of personal health information across jurisdictions. Ms. Roch was the first Chief Privacy Officer for the Canadian Institute for Health Information (2000-2005) where she was also responsible for the National Health Expenditures program, a seminal paper on a national drug utilization information system, and a balanced score card for corporate reporting (1996-2000). 1989-1994 Director of the Central Directorate for Income Security and Regional Operations, Manitoba Government, responsible for policy, planning, investigation, and budgets. 1977-1989 variety of roles, notable achievements, the Social Allowances Management Information Network, the Child Related income Support Program,
