I worked closely with the Communications and Senior Leadership Team to implement strategic communications and business development activity. It also functioned to build a clear understanding - both internally and externally - of the practice's experience, culture and brand.

During 2018 I was the Brisbane event host for the Creative Women's Circle, a not-for-profit organisation that champions and connects women working in creative industries. The role involved co-ordinating two sold-out events: one for 50 guests at Newstead Studios that presented thought-provoking speakers, provided networking opportunities, and re-engaged Brisbane creatives with the CWC. A second more intimate event for 25 guests some months later provided networking opportunities at Artisan (Queensland's home of craft and design) combined with a guided artist tour of the opening exhibition in their new King Street premises.

I worked in the Higher Education Division to collaboratively produce print and digital products for university students and professional academics. Responsible for multiple projects at a time, I managed external author teams and coordinated freelancers, providing guidance and creatively negotiating issues. I communicated daily with internal stakeholders from the Editorial, Production, Media, Copyright, Sales, and Marketing teams, to ensure products' development plans were appropriate, market-focused and aligned with budgets and schedules. My role also involved commissioning, editing and creating content myself for inclusion in different products. I attended annual Sales Conferences and presented new products in an engaging style to the publishing and sales teams.
