    My role as a Residence Assistant included ensuring the safety and well-being of students in residence, fostering a supportive community in the residence buildings, and facilitating an engaging living and learning environment. I successfully planned and led numerous programs and events for residents, including educational sessions, social activities, and community-building initiatives. I also played a key role in resolving conflicts and addressing concerns raised by residents over my time working as a Residence Assistant. As a returner, I was able to build upon my previous experience and take on additional responsibilities, including taking on leadership among my team of 4 RAs. I served as a mentor and role model to my house team, providing guidance and support as they navigated the early challenges of their roles.
