    Jim Wong, Founder of Brilliant™, former CEO and now an active Board Member, is a certified public accountant (Inactive) and has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting and staffing industries. In 2009, Jim founded Brilliant. In March 2016, Jim was recognized on the Staffing 100 List 2016 for North America. In April 2016, Jim was selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Business and Economic Development Corporation (ILBEDC). Prior to founding Brilliant, Jim co-founded a large finance and accounting staffing company, successfully sold to a NYSE staffing company in 2006. Jim graduated from NIU in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. After passing the CPA exam, he joined Ernst & Young. He then joined Robert Half. Wong is an active member of the IL CPA Society, the NIU Dept. of Accountancy Board of Advisors, and a board member of the Northern Illinois Executive Club.
