    Two years after the launch of Omani telecommunications company Ooredoo Oman, I was engaged to build and lead the inaugural legal and regulatory team. A member of the executive team and direct report to the CEO, I contributed to regulatory aspects of strategic planning and provided legal advice to the organisation, including regulatory requirements related to product, pricing and promotional activities. As Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer, I held direct P&L accountability in addition to company secretarial responsibilities, and from 2014-17, managed a multimillion-dollar revenue line for the Wholesale business.• Recruited, developed and led a team of seven high performing professionals to create the Legal & Regulatory team, creating a value-led culture that supported company-high engagement scores year on year;• Facilitated continuous growth and diversification, with key activities including response to market dominance, bids to secure fixed licence and international gateway and multiple spectrum acquisitions;• Drove a 40% reduction in product lifecycle via adoption of an agile working model and framework;• Provided thought leadership in the tech/telco space, speaking regularly at international conferences.
