The company was founded in 1996 and was headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. As on January 24, 2007, XpressTrade, LLC operates as a subsidiary of optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. in a deal worth over $35 million dollars.XpressTrade had 8,000 open accounts, an average of 2,900 trades per day and $126 million in customer assetsI was the original design and developer of the Xpresstrade system. My duties ebcompassed all facets of the IT operation including managing developers, making decisions about provisioning hardware resources and writing mission critical systems.
