    This is a volunteer position using my skills and experience as an Event Coordinator to help produce a successful fundraising event for the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club. The event consists of a silent auction, dinner and dance. My involvement as the Chairman was to create the agendas for meetings, work the the Club President to assign duties to other volunteers from decorations, client auction, dinner selection and venue to create the successful event we have for the past two years. 2016, Fiesta Blanca, 2017 Fiesta Rosa and for 2018 Fiesta Azul.

    My responsibilities here were a bit of a carry over from the Hospital and was responsible for the coordination of all Special Events for fundraising purposes....Annual Golf Tournament, Starry Starry Nights Summer event, Silver Ball, Retired Doctors Events, Red Rose Society Social gatherings, Volunteer Holiday Thank you party. In addition to the coordination of these events I often times was actually responsible for the catering of these events suppling the food and service staff.

    The responsibilities of this position included the scheduling of all meetings and classes for the Hospital. I was also responsible for the room set up requests, audio visual needs and food requests. In addition I supervised any on site receptions for the Hospital or Hospital Foundation. Also, was responsible for the Holiday Employee Christmas Party as well as the Summer Employee Picnic. During my time working for the Hospital I also worked with the Foundation on the creation of the ¨Retired Doctors¨group for social interaction and informative seminars. I also arranged for several off site excursions for this group. I also worked closing during this time with the Foundation on their annual Starry Starry nights event.

    Prior to ShowShop manager I worked as the Festival Chef creating meals for the Opening Patron Brunch, Opening Reception of the Festival and Labor Day Picnic. In addition was instrumental in the creation of the Staff food program feeding 300-400 staff members 3 meals per day.Prior to this position I was a Theater projectionist and started with the Telluride Film Festival in 1976 as a volunteer working in the Theaters and various parties the Festival produced.
