    The National Museum of Qatar will be built on a 1.5 million square foot site, with 430,000 square feet of indoor space. The museum will be surrounded by a 1.2 million square foot landscape park. The design of the museum is inspired by the desert sand rose, which are tiny formations that crystallize below the desert surface. The new building will be constructed from dozens of interlocking disk-like forms, made primarily from steel and concrete that will be locally sourced and fabricated.Responsibilities:• Establishment of horizontal and vertical control points from the government control points to NMQ site.• Assist the contractors to finalize the Survey method of statement (MS) and ITP for earthworks, reinforce concrete structures, shallow and deep services.• Assist Hill QC and construction department in enforcing the subcontractor to finalize the submission of survey MS and ITP.• Strict implementation of survey ITP during survey inspections.• Coordinate with the contractors in the maintenance and monitoring of site benchmarks, including the maintenance and calibration of survey instrument.• Review of shop drawings submitted by the contractors for approval.• Report any safety violations to EHE supervision team.
