    I had been working for another company when I first got into the Independent Author market. Initially I got my interest in the business from my dad who was a writer, editor and publisher. He worked for a Madison Avenue Ad Agency in New York City. In 2008 I launched my own publishing label. Bennett Books® A Publishing Resource for Independent Authors© is my own company So yes, I am still doing books and would be interested in discussing your next project.• A Book: More Mornings With The Dads for a nonprofit organization.March 3, 2016: The book, More Mornings with the Dads, 6 x 9 inches, 274 pages, with foreword by Coach Tony Dungy, soon to be available at Amazon and local stores was published by Bennett Books. The book details the experiences of 21 dads who have lost 23 children (2 lost 2).     Church Chat is a monthly publication of the Whitelick Presbyterian Church in Avon Indiana ranging up to eight pages. Distribution is about one third hard copy and two thirds electronic. The duties of the editor consist of eliciting input from various church leaders and formatting them into a coherent journal. It is the privilege of the position to write a monthly column on any topic that strikes my interest and is somehow related to matters of faith.

    • Working in DoD Publications and Forms: • When I went to DoD Publications they were in the process of relocating this work from Denver Colorado. They had not yet discovered how to integrate Java into XML to create an Interactive and Dynamic Form. Initially I did not know how to do this either but by working through my LinkedIn network I found the key. • The Publications are distributed primarily on the web using the pdf format. The Forms, whether Static, Interactive or Dynamic, are created in Adobe LiveCycle Designer, a variation of Acrobat, are distributed electronically and are used to automatically populate databases generating the required documentation independent of operator interaction.
