    As the primary overseer of Airtel Zambia's active equipment across various sites, I manage a portfolio of over 75 sites in the eastern regions of Lusaka, Zambia. My core responsibilities revolve around ensuring optimal network service availability within this region.Key Highlights:- Act as the main point of contact for all sites under my jurisdiction, serving as a reliable resource for troubleshooting and support.- Proficient in handling a range of devices including:• Ericsson Radios (2p, 6p, 20p) using Mini-link Craft for configuration and troubleshooting.• NEC Radios, utilizing pnmt for Pasolink Neo and web-based logins for iPasolink series (200, 1000, 5000) configurations.• Nokia MPR for installation, troubleshooting, and configuration.• Ericsson BTS 6000 series (5212/5216/6630) for installation, integration, and troubleshooting via Cygwin/Moshell command platforms.- Proactively analyze and resolve network element alarms and interface issues to minimize service disruptions.- Lead the scheduling and execution of Preventive Maintenance tasks to uphold network reliability.- Maintain continuous availability for timely site issue resolutions, ensuring minimal downtime.- Facilitate the swift acceptance and signoff of newly commissioned sites.- Uphold stringent quality and standardization protocols for all internal and external works, leading to successful acceptance of projects.

    - Responsible for Airtel Zambia active equipment on sites.- Currently manning over 90 sites in the eastern and east-southern parts of Lusaka, Zambia, and ensuring maximum availability of network services on sites within my region.- A First Level Maintenance point of contact for sites in my region.- I am proficient in working on the following devices;Ericsson Radios – Using Mini-link Craft to troubleshoot and configure these radios from a 2p, 6p to a 20p.NEC Radios – Using pnmt for the older Pasolink Neo radios and web-based log in for the newer iPasolink (200, 1000 and 5000 series) to troubleshoot as well as configure these types of radios.Nokia MPR – Installation, troubleshooting and configuration of the Nokia Multi-Packet Radio.Cambium Radios – Web-based log in, mostly used for Enterprise connections on the network.6000 series for Basebands (5212/5216/6630,) - To Install, Configure, Integrate, Troubleshoot and Accept Ericsson BTS’ using the Cygwin/Moshell command platforms.- To analyze and resolve alarms on network elements and their interfaces.- Schedule and complete Preventive Maintenance works of sites in my region.- Available all the time for site resolutions in my region.- Ensuring outages last for the shortest time possible.- Acceptance and signoffs of newly commissioned sites.- Ensuring all works done within/outside the active scope is done to the best of quality and standard leading to the acceptance of such works.
