      I am not working at an insurance company but recently , I did have a really bad experience with a Customer Service Agent. I ask to be transferred to a supervisor, the person refused and got really indignant with me. So, yes, I lost my cool for a minute and was disconnected. I called the company back a few minutes later and explained to a more patient agent what my original questions were about and how I was spoken to by the first agent. After a few minutes of a more respectful attitude from this agent , I was able to resolve my questions. I am a paying customer with this company and in the past have been greeted with cheerfulness and a willingness to resolve my issues. So , my advice, to anyone that is in the Customer Service world of answering phones or messages from paying customers.......please listen to the customer, be polite, give the customer a chance to explain or to ask the questions....if asked to be transferred to a supervisor, do so ! This insurance company almost lost my business along the fact that I would have reported this situation to the Better Business Bureau and to all know reporting sites. I am happy that I was able to come to an understanding of the whole matter.
