    Bredin is a non-profit organization that has assists job seekers in Alberta who are looking for long term employment for over 30 years. As an Employment Developer I assist clients one on one to review and revise Resumes, Cover Letters, Job Search Skills, Networking, Cold Calling and Mock Interviews. Networking in Acheson and Parkland County to find long term local opportunities and build lasting relationships with Employers.Participated in the Spruce Grove Chamber of Commerce as a Board Member which allowed me to network with a wide variety of local Employers in order to bridge local employers and job seekers.Assisted Companies with Hiring Fairs. This provides our clients with the first opportunity to fill any vacant positions, staff new stores with over 50 employees, and offer a space for the Employers to do Interviews and hire on the spot. Some of the employers that have been assisted in Bredin WorkSource are Save On Foods, Micheals, UPS, Flynn, Unisource, and the Cheesecake Cafe. The Employment Developer also works closely with Alberta Works clients to build confidence, learn new skills and secure both PT and FT positions. Manage and internal job board where our clients have the first opportunities to see open positions before they are posted on internet job boards and local newspapers.
