    4WARD is a non-profit organization that was founded by Rik Ritter and myself. 4WARD is a non-profit (501c3) that is determined to develop leadership skills and provide the opportunities for high school male students to eventually “pay it forward” in Northeast Indiana communities. 4WARD’s mission is to empower young males to realize their goals/aspirations, provide optimism and strength to achieve sustainability and accountability in academic, vocational and personal pursuits.

    New Tech Academy incorporates Project Based Learning into daily curriculum. Students are challenged with the School Wide Learning Outcomes (written communication, oral communication, agency and knowledge/thinking) while using 21st Century Skills. I educate freshmen in World Studies (English Language Arts & Geography/History of the World), Special Topics in History (Conflicts in History and Holocaust Education), and Leadership & Civics (leadership skills using the Leadership Challenge by Kouzes & Posner).
