This program will help EMT's advance to Paramedics through an apprenticeship program, which recently received DOL approval. -- Developed High-Road Training Partnership (HRTP) to expand Paramedic Apprenticeship Program to other healthcare employers. Wrote successful $1,000,000 grant proposal to fund the effort. -- Secured 2nd HRTP grant ($500,000) to replicate and scale EMT - Paramedic Apprenticeship program into additional in-demand healthcare occupations across the region. -- Secured (2) $750,000 ETP grants. The first to provide long-term sustainable funding to expand the Paramedic Apprenticeship Program. The second to help non-profit healthcare employers like community clinics in the region train and upskill their workforce. -- Represent the Workforce Development Board as high-level staff support on various policy, advisory, community and/or regional committees and groups for collaboration and problem solving. -- Provide leadership to programs providing services to at-risk and vulnerable clients.
