    I am a Valuation Services Director in the Financial Advisory Services group at RSM, and serve clients within the business valuation segment of the Consulting Services group. I primarily responsible for overseeing valuation engagements for clients in the Southeast region of the U.S.I work with clients to perform business valuation services, primarily focusing on estate/gift tax valuation and financial reporting valuations for goodwill impairment testing, purchase price allocations and stock compensation for complex financial structures. I also have experience working with clients on succession and business plans, merger and acquisition transactions, litigation support, strategic planning and consulting. I also work closely with the RSM audit practice to review valuations that affect financial reporting for audit clients.I hold the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation in Business Valuations from the American Society of Appraisers (“ASA”) with over twelve years of professional experience. Prior to joining RSM, I worked as an analyst for a small, local firm in Orlando specializing in business valuations. My primary duties were to assist the owner with calculations, compiling schedules and generating business valuation reports for closely held businesses. Prior to joining the workforce, I attended the University of Central Florida (“UCF”) where I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. While at UCF, I participated in the Student Managed Portfolio Program whereby a select group of Finance students managed a portfolio of publicly traded securities under the supervision of a professor. Upon graduation from UCF, I received the Honor Medallion, which recognizes the student with the highest grade point average in his graduating class.I am also a Member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
