    Virtusa, headquartered in the USA, is a NASDAQ listed global information technology (IT) services company providing IT consulting, technology and outsourcing services. During my tenure as a Project Manager I managed small, medium and large projects and ensured they were delivered on time. Later on I moved into playing the role of Business Support Center Lead for Colombo. My role as a Project Manager & BSC Lead entailed the following exposure and responsibilities: Managed a large team of 80+ on a complex Replatforming engagement while managing four other projects within the same account.  Directed the end-to-end corporate-wide global implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite modules, which demanded effective cross-geography stakeholder management to enable a single global corporate platform. Managed a core project delivery team of 40+ employees including leads, database specialists, developers, and quality assurance engineers, whilst reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Created a program using the benched resources and turned a simple idea into reality. Was mentored and guided by the senior director of technology and was thrust into larger complex programs. Improving the efficiency of the billing cycle. Understanding the systems, processes & become Colombo SPOC for all BSC activities. Streamlining, simplifying the processes and repositories. Ensuring that the pre-invoicing and invoicing activities are completed for all projects tagged to Colombo. Sorting out agreement creation and funding in advance. Updating billing parameters prior to invoicing cycle. Providing reliable and timely information to the leadership. Coordinating with all BSC partners and PMO team members to comply billing calendar. Ensuring that Colombo time locking reaches the target. Ensuring that the cost engine is run on time. Ensuring that invoices are pushed across to the Client Service Managers for approval within the agreed timelines.
