Collision Repair Sales Representative
-
Jan 2014 - Nov 2014
Collision Repair Sales Representative for Penske Truck Leasing Collision Repair Center. In this position, I had worked as the Reading Body Shop's sales person to drum up new business and talk with outside retail customers about repairing their equipment. This opportunity gave me an awesome sales experience and in the process formed great customer relationships still in effect in my current position. Being independent and forming my own sales schedule/customer base for the duration of the position was a valuable experience and crucial for growth.

CAMP DAVID ~ Presidential Security- MOS 0311/ 8152 U.S.M.C.0311-Infantry / 8152-Security ~ "Yankee White" Top-Secret Security Clearance. Progressed through roles such as Infantry Squad Leader, Sentry, React Team Commander, and Corporal of the Guard at one of the nations most secure facilities. All of this taking place during the Clinton & Bush administrations. Attained the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) / Corporal. Some facts about Camp David and caliber of Marines earning this position:"The Camp is alleged to be one of the most secure facilities in the world, as reported by a Department of Defense journal in 1998. The Facility is guarded by one of the United States Marine Corps' most elite units, MSC-CD (Marine Security Company, Camp David). Each Marine is hand picked from the infantry and sent through a battery of psychological and physical tests. He then must undergo specialized security training at the Marine Corps Security Forces School, in Chesapeake, Virginia. The Marines then report to Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C. Assuming the Marines successfully complete all their schooling, they still must attain "Yankee White" security clearance. Only then will the Marines be eligible for the assignment at Camp David. After 12 months of service at Camp David, a Marine is awarded the Presidential Service Badge."

Entry Level position in the collision repair business:http://www.skeetcraft.com/I was on co-op with my vo-tech school while employed here senior year of high school - to continue my education before graduation & to gain actual on-the-job training experience at a body shop. During this stage, I was more of learner/helper/assistant and did some light repairs while employed at Skeet Craft. Invaluable experience for me in a great body shop with a reputation that does outstanding work. I would personally recommend this business for collision repair work on cars and light trucks.
