Leasing and Sales Consultant
-
Sep 2007 - May 2008
Worked with clients and their transportation needs. Had to make follow up calls with current and future clients as well as do demonstrations and provide product knowledge in a highly professional manner. I enjoy the atmosphere of meeting new people every day and learning from changes in the market. I kept a daily work log and tracked my progress throughout the week/month. I made a table for myself that tracked how many people I had talked too, to how many sales I closed. In my 6th month of the business I was salesman of the month selling 23.5 units in February. I avg. about 4k a month. My main objective in this field was to come across to the customer as if I wasn't a salesman, but rather just someone who knew the product that could help them find the car they needed. I asked many questions and received many accolades from my customers on how efficient and respectful I was.

Account Manager
-
May 2007 - Sep 2007
Had to travel business to business and represent Verizon communications. I had to see on avg. 40 small to mid-sized businesses a day in regards to their internet and phone lines. The first objective was to see the owner of the store, which meant getting past the front desk. So my creativity and communication skills had to be on point in order to do so. I was promoted within 4 days to be able to teach others the business. The promotion consisted of me being able to gross $500 in one consecutive week. The avg. product grossed $20 dollars. My main objective was to provide the best plan for their business by viewing a recent bill and explain the benefit of the new product. Once I made it clear to the owner I would then conduct a change via phone. At the office I would train new acct. managers on the process and our companies' sales tactics, for example overcoming objections.
