while @ H.D i was forklift trainer, front end supervisor, professional business consultant, department supervisor for garden dept, manager of hardware / garden departments. I was hired in 1997 as the professorial business consultant because of my vast knowledge of contracting. within two months (after several comments on how poorly our operators were trained) i was promoted to fork lift trainer. My duties were educating associates on proper and safe operation techniques as well as complete documentation for osha. within 6 months i was promoted to dept supervisor. i was responsible for ordering and maintaining and inventorying of over 100k a month. i was also responsible for scheduling for over 20 associates that had to fit into a percent to sales per hour matrix. i was also responsible for training and monthly safety meetings. I took front front end supervisor training and became certified when i began district management training. Some of responsibilities @ Home Depot were, but not limited to forklift trainer, Inventory Management, labor management, scheduling, knowledge of osha safety standards, computer knowledge, vendor negotiations, front end certified, complete retail service experience, financials and profit & loss statements
