      Site Manager for civil works at substations: Contract 144/2012 -KDL.P/76 S/S 400/220 kV EL Milia, 220/60 kV EL Milia II ; (Sonelgaz - Alger)As one of the youngest construction managers, I was given a role to organize the work scopes and resolve all the structural, construction, and budget issues that occur at the site until the end of civil works on these substations.As a CM, my duties were the following:◊ Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget◊ Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress on site◊ Developing and implementing quality control programs during the construction works◊ Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients◊ Directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions◊ Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors ◊ Resolving all the issues that occur between my subcontractors due to the parallel work scopes that happened at one place at the same time.Civil scopes of this substation involved a lot of types of construction to be finished:-> Access road length 3,1 km and Internal roads 2,5 km-> Clearing, leveling, and the area around 170 000 sqm for substation's scopes -> Excavation of material in the amount of approx. 800 000 m3 and construction of a landfill -> Building the 25 different types in the total number of 955 foundations-> Lifting and installing the steel structures which most of which have a height of 27 m-> 4 buildings (two comand buildings on two flours, and two residential building with 4 apartmens each) -> Concrete cable trenches, internal and external water drainage system, boundary wall, property fense, retaning wall and etc. I worked with a total of 8 subcontractors on this project, one of them were foreign companies and rest of them were local construction companies.
