Dec 2015 - Oct 2022
I lead the Library and responsible for developing its vision, strategic plan and implementation strategies. I'm currently the Council of New Zealand University Librarians (CONZUL) representative on the Content Procurement Committee, the committee for Australian and New Zealand university libraries’ electronic resources consortia agreements and negotiations. I'm also the secretary of IFLA’s Library Buildings and Equipment Standing Committee and was formerly a member of IFLA’s Academic and Research Libraries’ Standing Committee. My current interests include open access, understanding our users’ behavior and responding swiftly, recalibrating library spaces, and creating the right environment/culture for brave and future thinking library staff.

University Lead for the Student Success Program
-
Sep 2019 - May 2021
My 'other' job is leading the SSP at the University. The Program is responsible for reviewing and redesigning student services across the University. The intention is to ensure that student services are streamlined, integrated and meet the needs of our diverse student population to achieve academic success. The Program has overall responsibility and oversight of three projects: admissions and enrolments, a multi-channel student service centre, and developing a framework to support student retention initiatives, incorporating holistic advising. The work also includes improving our enabling technology and a change proposal for the establishment of Tītoko: Centre for Student Success, including a new Director position to oversee the next phase.
