I am the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for the Longitudinal Cohort, a study ran by the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (MADRC). The Longitudinal Cohort is a decades long study that follows cognitive changes through neuropsychological testing, biomarkers, imaging, and neuropathology. The participants in our study range from normal cognition to severely impaired with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. As Senior CRC, I oversee CRC Is and CRC IIs and am responsible for neuropsychological testing, phlebotomy, participant oversight, data management, and IRB submissions. Other activities include attending brain autopsies and recruitment for imaging studies.

The Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies Social Psychology Lab is run by Dr. Andrea Mercurio at Boston University. Research at the Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies lab explores the health and well-being of marginalized and at-risk groups, including but not limited to women, people of color, sexual minorities, older individuals, and those with mental health issues. As a post-undergrad volunteer Research Assistant, I conducted primary data analysis and was first author on a project focusing on the interactions between sexual/gender identity and religiosity, health outcomes, and psychological wellbeing. I presented my completed poster at the APS Conference in Wasington D.C. While studying abroad in Paris, I worked full time at the International School of Paris as a Human and Health Services intern. In this role, I co-counseled students regarding behavioral issues in presence of school counselor, shadowed student checkups with the school nurse, taught and prepared curriculum for Personal Social Education (PSE) classes, assisted with ESL classes and activities, and wrote reports for incoming students to be reviewed for admission. During the internship, I also researched and recorded direct observations of advantages and disadvantages of iPads in PSE classes for my final internship project. The final project included a 20 page written report as well as a presentation, both of which were conducted in French.
