    Plans and Agreements Monitoring System (PAMS) Replacement Migration Team Lead: Responsible for all phases of migration: data analysis and mapping, design, construction and testing. Migration effort loaded legacy PAMS data from a variety of sources (including VSAM files, Excel spreadsheets, dBase files, and Access databases) into a fully normalized ORACLE database . Constructed the SQL LOADER control files to load the legacy data into ORACLE 9i tables converting EBCIDIC data to ASCII, packed decimal to ORACLE date and number data types, and handling nested tables and varrays. Wrote complex SQL queries to analyze legacy data and test migrated data. Designed, wrote and tuned PL/SQL code composed of functions, procedures and packages to transform, parse and validate data. Design and Construction Team: Gathered user requirements and identified existing business processes. Modeled data, designed screens and wrote specifications to integrate identified requirements into application. Rezoning Application System (RAPS) and Plans and Waivers (PAWS) Replacement Migration Team Lead: Designed migration methodology. Mapped legacy data objects to LDS data model. With ISISnet, residential and commercial inspections could be scheduled and reviewed online. Developed ISISnet using Active Server Pages (ASP), HTML, JavaScript and ShadowDirect to access CICS transactions on the County's IBM 390 to retrieve and update inspections and permits information.
