I travelled to more than 30 countries to report on events including the Israel/Lebanon war (from where I blogged daily), the Virginia Tech massacre, the death of Michael Jackson and how funds raised by Live 8 were spent in Sudan. At home I covered the 7/7 bombings, Old Bailey terror and murder trials, The Sun's Military Awards, Wimbledon tennis and the occasional indiscretions of pop stars and footballers.
