    ARTCELERATOR is a grassroots art movement and collective sprouting from an active network of local artists, bands, performers, and creative enthusiasts who want to see a revolution in culture and free expression in the town of Martinez and surrounding communities. We believe that the enrichment and revitalization of the community downtown will grow out of the cultivation of culture first and enterprise second. As an organization, we are purposed to incubate, accelerate, and celebrate local artists of all disciplines.

    The Martizian is an online culture magazine focused on community engagement and creating a voice for an emerging era of new culture centered around the Waterfront of Diablo Valley.When we started TheMartizian.com it was developed as a tool for the community. It is a place we can all share our authentic culture. We will share real stories, honest opinions, photographs, artwork, events, local hangouts, graffiti, live music. Then, after we’ve collected enough momentum, we will have bridged the gaps between community, local business and government. A Martizian is a citizen or denizen of Martinez California. “The Martizian” is an idea: the task is upon us (as Martizians) to make a difference.
