The Asset Management team within Netflix is the catch all department that offers a complete range support from technical advice for onset problems, to post production workflows that compliment the colour managed pipeline and ultimately carry the production over the line with the QC and delivery process. Strong technical abilities along with a vast amount of experience in post workflows was an important part of my toolset in performing in this role. Experience and understanding of industry standards and emerging formats was a huge plus in performing in this role, my understanding of IMF creation, HDR and SDR workflows along with DoVi and ATMOS's object based mixing was integral to the day to day in this position.Cross functional team training was a big part of this position. Understanding the vast ecosystem of Netflix's applications that manage the flow of assets through Netflix's pipeline is at the core of what was needed to train partners and a internal steak holders. Training partners to understand the "why" and not just the "how" in the operation of all tools involved with delivery is at the basis of the training model. Creating tracking tools and dashboards that are reflective of the most important data was a valuable skill in this role.The most advantageous skill that was learned in this position was time management under a breathtaking amount of work. At its peak, I managed 17 series, from different regions of EMEA, delivering to Netflix's delivery platforms and going though an extensive QC procedure and 24 series that were in a state of archival delivery.
