Developed security program, security plan, and security policy and procedures based upon ISO 27001 and 27002. Conducted over 150 security vulnerability assessments of company data centers both in Europe and the US. Obtained Department of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) certification and accreditation IAW NIST SP 800-53 for three data centers that provided services to OPM. Responded to financial, medical, and local government's security requirements to maintain compliance with HIPAA, GLBA, SB1386, SOX, etc. Travel took me to our 46 data centers within the US several times and also to two in UK, and one in Milan and one in Paris.

Principal security contracts with US Army Communications Command, NSA, FBI, HBO, Scientific Atlanta, Direct Broadcast Systems to the Home, etc. Worked in Scotland, Germany, Austria, Canada, Switzerland and across the US. Earned my commercial industry "spurs" with this Company following my military service (USN Retired).

Enlisted as Radioman Seaman in San Diego 1960. Attended Radioman a school then to Tech Control NAVCOMSTA Guam, then B School (electronics) then off to Yokosuka Japan, then to Skaggs Island in Napa/Sonoma. Then to Vietnam on USS Anapolis then to Australia, Hong Kong, Tailand, Indian Ocean, West Coast of Africa, Dakar Sengal and all ports Med (Portugal, Rota Spain, Italy, Greece, etc., and on to Balboa, Canal Zone Communications Station. Around S. America on USS Yarnell (DLG-17) and subsequently made Chief Radioman in 10th year. Then To Warrant, Chief Warrant-4, then LTjg and finally to LT. Officer Duties at NAVCOMSTA Hawaii, NAVCOMSTA Guam, USS Kitty Hawk (CV63) and Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific, Coronado, California. All Naval Communication positions at Data Centers, Automatic message switching center, satellite Center, and forces afloat.
