    In September 2021 I was promoted to become Lead Content Editor for Invezz. In this role I am responsible for our internal content operation: identifying areas to cover, planning and writing new pages, and editing, updating, and optimising existing content.As we are a fairly small operation, my role is effectively a hybrid content and SEO job: I use ahrefs, SurferSEO, and Accuranker to monitor our keyword performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and then fill them by creating new content. This combination role means that I manage the content operation from beginning to end. I perform the competitor and keyword research to build out our content plans, create a templated page structure so we can mass-produce ranking pages, then write and optimise the content once it's published. I am responsible for the content budget and I manage a team of writers, both internal and freelance, in order to meet my objectives.

    As a content writer for Invezz.com I wrote beginner-friendly guides on investing in traditional finance and in cryptocurrency. Our niche is explaining how to invest in specific financial assets and acting as a comparison site to help users find the best platforms to invest.As a result, I wrote articles covering blue chip public companies like Tesla, Apple, Amazon, and leading cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin. As 2021-22 turned out to be a wild year in the markets, I also ended up covering a lot of small, niche stocks and crypto in response to swings in search volume. Many pages ended up generating thousands of pounds thanks to our affiliate marketing model.Our articles were written to a specific SEO brief to target high volume search terms. I also contributed ideas for new topics to cover, helped plan our annual content strategy, and created my own optimised page structures.
