I was hired as a first year associate attorney whose primary responsibilities revolved around preparing cases that were in the pre-litigation stage and giving them to the more experienced attorneys whose job it was to litigate and settle these claims. Over time, I learned to settle cases, try district court cases and started to take depositions, conduct arbitrations as well as arguing various types of civil motions. This was a great place to learn for a three year period before I left them and joined some other firm in 1997.
